The apartments have an area of 55 sqm. They consist of a single space living room with kitchen and can be designed, upon request, with 1 or 2 bedrooms. They also feature a bathroom.
In the standard equipment are included: closets in all bedrooms, storage room, double acting air-conditioning, for heat in the winter and coolness in the summer and solar water heater. The apartments of the upper floor feature a veranda, which is shaded by a wooden pergola which is ideal for careless relaxing and grants lovely views, while the ones on the ground floor will feature a 140sqm garden. Around the complex there is plenty of parking space.
The "Oikies" settlement consists of 23 buildings that are being developed in "Prinos" village, on Thassos island.
It is only 1.5 km away from "Skala Prinos", the port that connects the island by ferry boat with Kavala and at about 18km from the capital and the main port of Thassos, Limenas, where the ferry boats arrive from Kerakoti.
A lot of beautiful sandy beaches, that are kilometres long, are located in the area. The sea at some of them is very shallow, therefore ideal for small children.
The area around Prinos has been a popular destination for tourists for decades. Hotels, apartments and rooms to let, restaurants, taverns, super markets, entertainment possibilities, cultural events, leisure time activities etc. are available in this part of the island. Prinos lies between the south-western and the north-eastern side of Thassos, where some of the best beaches of the island are hosted.
Prinos is a lively village throughout the whole year. Its population is 1.500 permanent residents. The village features shops, medical center, school and weekly open market, therefore accommodation in the "Oikies" complex is possible throughout the whole year. The complex lies at the edge of the village, at a particularly quiet area, with very easy access from the island's main road.
All the buildings in "Oikies" are distinguished by their aesthetics and their architectural design that match the traditional style of the island, while only high quality materials are used and all buildings are equipped with a very good external thermal insulation, based on the latest standards.
